Best Painters Near Chatham, IL Ranked by Chooz Score

Call Cinric and the owner picks up. That small thing shows up in review after review, usually with a note of surprise, because most homeowners are used to leaving a message and waiting days. Rick runs the jobs himself, walks customers through the plan on the first visit, and turns up on site to check the work while it's underway.

Cinric is a family business, now in its third generation, with Rick and Rick Sr. both showing up in reviews alongside a longtime crew. The Chooz Score's owner engagement indicators are strong for that reason, since Rick is named in nearly every review and personally answers the feedback customers leave online rather than sending copy-paste thanks.

The last time we ran our Chooz Score analysis, Clean Cut had over 350 Google reviews with a 4.7-star rating, and the pace hasn't slowed. Nearly twenty of those landed in the most recent three-month stretch, so new feedback shows up most weeks, not once a season. The Chooz Score's recent activity weighting confirms Clean Cut is actively serving customers right now, not coasting on old reviews.

Behind the volume sits a Chooz Score of 84.6%, a 5.0 rating on Angi, and registration with the Illinois Secretary of State as IL Business Entity No. 06735282. More than a decade of work across Decatur and the Springfield area backs it up.
