Jorge The Painter LLC
Chooz Score Insights
At the time of our analysis, Jorge The Painter LLC held over 70 Google reviews with a 5.0-star rating, along with 100% recommended on Facebook across over 10 reviews, and a single 5.0 review on Yelp. A perfect 5.0 average holding across more than 70 Google reviews is uncommon, since profiles at that volume usually carry at least a few lower ratings.
The company earned a Chooz Score of 85.1%. It is registered in North Carolina as NC Business Entity No. 1866041, and the reviews we analyzed place its Charlotte-area operating history at more than six years. The business is owner-led, with Jorge Aguilera named directly in reviews as one of the painters on the job, and it serves Charlotte and the surrounding communities.
Across the reviews we analyzed, a few patterns recur. Jorge is named as working on site alongside his crew in a large share of the reviews we read, consistent with an in-house team rather than rotating subcontractors. Repeat hiring is common, and we found at least ten reviewers describing second, third, or fourth projects, including several real estate professionals who route client work to the company. Reviewers also point repeatedly to proactive communication, with updates and arrival texts noted throughout. None of the reviews we analyzed recorded a written complaint.
"Fantastic work, very reasonably-priced, and on-time. Jorge even texted me one morning to inform me he was running 15 minutes late. What contractor does that? Couldn't be happier." - Juan V., Google Review
Advice For Future Customers
Reviewers repeatedly single out how much of the work Jorge handles personally, from the initial quote to being on site through the job, and several note he catches and fixes issues before they are raised. If that hands-on involvement matters to you, confirm the owner will run your estimate and be present during the project. Communication runs largely by text, with reviewers describing proactive updates on pricing and arrival times, so it is worth setting your preferred contact method at the start if you want calls or email instead.
