About Mohican Hills Painting LLC
Mohican Hills Painting LLC pairs interior and exterior painting with a written plan for preparation, materials and communication. Based in Ashland, the business is led by Wade Miller and identifies North Central Ohio as its service region, including Ashland, Mansfield, Ontario, Lexington, Wooster and Medina.
Its published process starts with a free estimate and describes a deposit of 10–25% to reserve a place in the schedule. A production manager then discusses colors and timing, with test patches before the start and updates as work progresses. The company also describes a final walkthrough and touchups before final payment.
Customer projects in the supplied reviews include bathroom and kitchen cabinet painting, a multicolor repaint on historic house trim, and washing, sanding and staining a log home with decks and outbuildings. Mohican Hills also publishes guidance on preparing peeling trim and siding, filling small holes and handling previous patchwork.
The company states that it maintains a $1 million general liability policy and covers its work with a two-year warranty. Its exterior warranty depends on the specified washing, preparation and quality materials, so the written project agreement matters when choosing the scope.
