Best Painters Near Shirley, IL Ranked by Chooz Score

What sets Total Coverage apart is that the owner is on nearly every job. Read the reviews and one name does most of the work. Bob. He handles the quote, walks the space, explains how he'll fix what's wrong, and comes back to check it's right. Customers describe him communicating schedules, working around the weather, and staying inside their budget without being asked twice.

That structure shows up in the Chooz Score's in-house crews component too, the owner and his team on site rather than a rotating cast of subs. When Derek Price needed a very high foyer, several rooms, and a bedroom ceiling handled, Bob and his crew took all of it on.

At the time of our analysis, D J's Painting and Remodeling Inc carried a Chooz Score of 81.6%. The company has operated in the Bloomington area for over three decades and is registered in Illinois as Business Entity No. 16111155. It is a family-run operation led by owner David Juarez, serving Bloomington, Normal, and the surrounding Central Illinois communities.

Across its review profiles, the company held over 180 Google reviews with a 4.7-star rating, along with 4.0 stars on Yelp and 92% recommended on Facebook across over 60 reviews. The strongest ratings sit on the highest-volume platform, and the lower Yelp figure comes from a much smaller number of reviews.
