The Final Coat

About The Final Coat

Before paint goes on, The Final Coat describes protecting floors and furniture, repairing surface imperfections and cleaning the surfaces to be finished. Its interior painting process includes a final walkthrough. The Akron company handles residential and commercial painting, as well as refinishing decks, fences, cabinets and other wood surfaces.[1][2]

Homeowners can ask about walls, ceilings, trim, doors and cabinetry. The exterior painting page lists wood siding, aluminum, vinyl, brick, stucco and fiber cement among the surfaces it can paint, and names PPG, Benjamin Moore and Sherwin-Williams as products it typically uses. Its estimate process begins with a conversation about colors, goals and timing.[1][3]

Commercial work appears in customer accounts too. One describes an office repaint with sanding and painting completed within a week while the business continued operating. A homeowner's account covers a finished basement and highlights the estimate and communication around the work. These examples reflect individual projects.[4]

The Final Coat is based at 125 Kelly Avenue in Akron and states that it serves a 30-mile radius around Akron. Its website offers an estimate form and lists weekday office hours from seven thirty in the morning to 4 p.m. The company is BBB accredited and appears in the Painting Contractors Association member directory.[5][2][6]
