Willow Tree Painting & Home Improvement LLC leads the rankings with a Chooz Score of 90.8%. The last time we conducted our Chooz Score analysis, they had nearly 100 Google reviews with a perfect 5.0-star rating, plus 5.0 stars on Yelp. The company holds Google Guaranteed status, which requires passing background checks and insurance verification, and has been in business for over 6 years as a registered New York LLC. If you're a homeowner with a challenging or non-standard project (older cedar siding, horse barns, multi-level decks, rotted exterior boards), Willow Tree Painting & Home Improvement LLC is a good choice.
James personally handled estimates in the majority of reviews, then handed off daily coordination to project manager Peter - a two-stage system customers consistently call seamless. Cabinet specialist Ron leads refinishing work and is praised individually across numerous reviews. Crew members Javier and Fernando are frequently requested by name on return projects.
- Multiple customers describe James steering them away from their original stain or color choices toward better alternatives - and being glad they listened once the job was finished.
- Homeowners dealing with unusual project scopes (a historic horse barn, cedar fences, steep double decks) report the team took on the challenge without hesitation and delivered results that surprised them.
- The front office team, including Kelley and Lisa, handles scheduling and logistics, and one customer coordinated an entire New York paint job remotely from California before their move-in date.
"We are extremely pleased with the painting job performed by Willow Tree from the initial consultation to the final walkthrough. The quality of their craftsmanship really shows, and our house now looks refreshed. The team arrived on time each day, kept the work areas neat, and cleaned up at the end of every day." - Daniel Gundersen,
