Bill Schneeberger Painting And Decorating

Hired Back Without a Second Thought

Read through the reviews and the same thing keeps happening. People don't hire Bill Schneeberger once. Katelyn Switzer brought the crew in for interior painting and moisture repair, then hired them back a few weeks later for her kitchen cabinets. Chris White has used them twice for exterior work and staining, and he's now moving on to interior projects.

Todd Novak's family has gone back several times and is already planning a basement refresh, and Cal Isaacson has worked with Roy on two separate occasions covering most of his home. That loyalty is exactly what the Chooz Score's customer retention indicators pick up, with reviewers describing returns for second, third, and fourth projects, sometimes years apart.

"They did such a great job and met our timeline so we hired them back just a few weeks later to also do our kitchen cabinets; they did another beautiful job." - Katelyn S., Google Review

Since 1974, Still Five Stars

Family owned since 1974. Fifty years on, still a clean five stars. The last time we ran our Chooz Score analysis, Bill Schneeberger held over 50 Google reviews with a 5.0-star rating, and the praise carried across platforms with 5.0 stars on Yelp across over 25 reviews.

The company earned a Chooz Score of 83.2%. A family owned and operated business since 1974 and a registered Illinois business entity, it lines up cleanly across every platform we checked, which is the kind of consistency the Chooz Score's cross-platform analysis is built to reward.

"Incredible job. This company really rocks!" - Tom F., Google Review

Roy and Carlos, Known by Name

Roy and Carlos get called out by name again and again. Read enough of these reviews and you start to recognize the crew. Roy Schneeberger shows up over and over, quoting jobs, running the work, and taking on the trickiest details himself. Carlos is the on-site contact customers name directly, the one who circled back for last-minute touch-ups after a carpet install left some damage. Because the same in-house team returns job after job, people ask for them by name.

The detail work is where it shows. On one project Roy hung expensive patterned wallpaper in a powder room, working around sharp corners, a pedestal sink, and fixed wall mountings so the pattern lined up seamlessly from sheet to sheet. On another, the team painted the home theater's speaker covers to match the wall color exactly.

"Roy did a magnificent job applying expensive patterned wallpaper in our powder room. This was a highly technical task involving sharp corners, a pedestal sink, and various wall mountings." - Michael B., Google Review
