Fulton Revivals - Cabinet Painters & Whole Home Painting

When we ran our analysis, Fulton Revivals - Cabinet Painters & Whole Home Painting held over 120 Google reviews with a 5.0-star rating, along with 4.3 stars on Yelp across over 10 reviews. A 5.0 average at more than 120 reviews is uncommon at that volume, and the much smaller Yelp profile sits a step below it.

The company earned a Chooz Score of 90.0%. Over 50 of the reviews we analyzed name the specific project performed, and at least 15 of them include customer photos. Fulton Revivals has been in business for over five years and is family-run by owners Joe and Krystal Haynes, who work out of a shop on South Union Avenue in Chicago. The company describes itself as an EPA Lead-Safe Certified Firm, publishes a written Craftsmanship Warranty, and serves the city and the surrounding suburbs.

Cabinet painting dominates the sample, outnumbering every other project type reviewers describe, with interior painting the usual add-on. Reviewers describe the same steps job after job, a consultation with Joe, scheduling handled by Krystal, a color consultation before work begins, and doors sprayed off site over about a week. Diego, Juan, Temo, Brayan, and Rob are named across two years of reviews, and several reviewers ask for a painter by name, which points to a steady in-house roster. The single sub-five-star review in our sample received an owner reply offering to return and correct the items raised.

"Our painter, Diego, was incredible. He did an amazingly thorough job, spending about a day and a half just taping up the cabinets to ensure everything was perfect. He carefully moved and stacked our items and sealed off the kitchen to protect the rest of the house." - Robert O., Google Review

Advice For Future Customers

The color consultation is worth taking. Several reviewers describe a paint-brand color specialist visiting before the project began, and those who used it credit the visit with their final choice. If you want a specific painter, ask when you book. At least two reviewers recommend requesting Diego by name, and others describe the same crew members returning for a second project.
