About Prestige Painting & Decorating Inc.
Prestige Painting & Decorating works out of Elmhurst and paints homes across the western Chicago suburbs, from full interior repaints to exterior color changes and the finishing touches a house needs in between. Alongside walls and trim, the team refinishes cabinets, stains decks, fences, and pergolas, hangs and removes wallpaper, and repairs drywall before any color goes over it.
The approach starts with preparation. Crews mask off rooms, prep and repair surfaces, and keep the workspace clean, tidying up at the end of each day so a family can still live in the home while the job runs. Owner Bogdan stays close to the work, and the same painters return day after day rather than rotating through.
Written estimates spell out the work up front, and homeowners can start with a Free Estimate or request Online Estimates before booking. Repeat customers and word of mouth recommendations point to steady communication, careful finishing, and a crew that treats a home the way its owners would want.

Additional Questions Answered
What can homeowners expect from Prestige Painting & Decorating on an interior project?
Interior work runs from full-house repaints to single accent walls, done with heavy prep and daily tidying. Eva Adler said "Prestige did a wonderful job painting the interior of my new house", and Mark Sidoryk pointed to "Excellent, thorough prep work throughout the space". The crew protects rooms as they go and cleans them at the end of each day so the home stays livable.
How does Prestige Painting & Decorating handle exterior painting and color changes?
Exterior projects cover siding, trim, whole-house color changes, and repairs to weathered surfaces. Brad Bauer described a color change that "requires a lot of attention to detail and prep, which they did expertly", and Kevin Temple wrote that their "professionalism, attention to detail, work ethic, and promptness is unmatched". The team preps and seals the surfaces first so the finish holds up outdoors.
Why do reviewers highlight preparation when they talk about Prestige Painting & Decorating?
Preparation is where the crew spends its time before any color goes on. Rosanne Kason said "Their wall prep prior to painting was outstanding" and that "their painting was beautiful". Rich Koch noted that "Paul, our primary painter, had an amazing attention to detail and exceeded our expectations". Careful surface work is what makes the finished paint look even and hold up over time.
Does Prestige Painting & Decorating refinish cabinets and stain wood surfaces?
Yes, cabinet refinishing and wood staining are part of the regular work, with color matching done on samples first. Janet Gifford watched them sample stains on her cabinet doors and called painter "Paul is a magician, an EXCELLENT craftsman", adding that "The job turned out gorgeous". They also handle trim, doors, and railings so wood tones stay consistent across a room.
Can Prestige Painting & Decorating paint or stain decks, fences, and pergolas?
Yes, exterior wood such as decks, fences, and pergolas is a routine part of the schedule. Therese Hanigan said "Prestige did an awesome job repairing/painting our deck", and Jim Erhardt wrote that "Prestige did a very nice job with our pergola and fence". Damaged boards get repaired alongside the staining or painting so the structure is sound first.
How does Prestige Painting & Decorating treat a customer's home during work?
The crew covers floors and furniture, works around the household, and cleans up rather than leaving a mess behind. Nancy said "They did a great job, cleaned up after very well", and Janet Gifford noted the team "cleaned up every day". Mark Sidoryk pointed to their "Clean, orderly management of the workspace" as the project moved through his house.
What do clients say about scheduling and communication with Prestige Painting & Decorating?
Projects tend to stay on schedule with steady updates from the same crew each day. Mark Sidoryk, a retired construction project manager, cited "Consistent communication and staffing daily" and that they "Met our schedule & budget with no surprises or delays". Written estimates come first, and a free consultation gets a project started before any crew arrives.
